The objective of this project is a complete redesign of the existing S-Bahnhof (metro station) Berlin Warschauer Straße including a roof for the tracks near the station. It is important to take a variety of complex issues concerning traffic and infrastructure into account such as plans of a new bridge for busses and street cars and the extension of the subway system that is to be connected to the S-Bahnhof. Moreover, plans for a multi-purpose hall with a capacity of approximately 18.000 visitors on the former DB-property of the eastern cargo station are to be incorporated in the traffic organization.
